Split Snatch (From Floor)
Olympic lifting variation. Move feet into a split stance to catch the weight low.
Instructions
- Start weight on floor.
- Pull explosively.
- Drop under the bar by splitting legs (lunge).
- Catch with arms locked overhead.
- Recover front foot then back foot.
Common Mistakes
- Catching with soft elbows
- Not splitting deep enough
- Landing on back heel
- Slow turnover
