Motion Coach is committed to user privacy and transparent data processing. Below is our complete privacy and compliance disclosure.
1. Special Category Data (GDPR Art. 9 & BIPA)
This application processes biometric data (facial geometry and skeletal pose). By entering, you provide explicit consent for processing this special category data for exercise form correction. Facial features are masked locally with a blackout overlay before any transmission.
2. Data Minimization (GDPR Art. 5 & CCPA)
We utilize Background Segmentation. The AI only receives your body and anonymized face on a neutralized background. Your physical environment is stripped locally and never transmitted.
3. International Transfer (GDPR Art. 49)
Your data is processed by Google AI (Gemini) in the United States. You acknowledge that international data transfer standards apply.
4. Medical Disclaimer & Liability Cap
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Motion Coach is an automated AI visualization tool, NOT a licensed medical provider, physical therapist, or personal trainer.
5. Your Rights (CCPA & GDPR)
You have the Right to Access (Export Data), Right to Rectification (Delete Sessions), and Right to Withdraw Consent (Revoke & Purge).
6. Retention (GDPR Art. 5 & CPRA)
Live camera tracking frames are ephemeral in-memory buffers in RAM discarded immediately after workout completion. Images sent for AI analysis are processed in real-time and never permanently stored on our servers; however, per Google API Terms, Google Cloud may retain anonymized API transmissions for up to 30 days for service security and abuse monitoring. Analyzed motion sequence keyframes, session video recordings, form ratings, and workout history persist locally on your device in localStorage and IndexedDB to enable Glory Ledger review until you click "Purge Local Storage", "Revoke", or clear browser storage.
7. Analytics & Usage Data
We use Google Analytics to improve application stability and performance. For users in opt-in jurisdictions (EEA, UK, etc.), analytics tracking is blocked by default until explicit authorization.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of Motion Coach are governed exclusively by the laws of The Netherlands.
9. Class Action & Jury Trial Waiver
All claims must be brought on an individual basis under applicable law.
10. Advertisements & Cookies (Google AdSense)
We may use Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners to serve advertisements when you visit Motion Coach. These companies may place and read cookies or web beacons on your browser to collect non-personally identifiable usage data to serve ads tailored to your interests.
